Whitney Jones, Inc.

Amy Jones joined Whitney Jones, Inc. in 2006, and has directed numerous capital campaigns with goals ranging from $1.5 million to $4 million in the Triad and surrounding communities and counties. Amy has worked with a variety of organizations including a hospice, senior service agency, Habitat for Humanity, Humane Society, and several charter schools, among others.

Amy's development experience began many years before her tenure with Whitney Jones, Inc., having previously worked in development and communications roles with well-established non-profit organizations in Winston-Salem. Amy has extensive experience in major gifts, special events and grant writing.

Amy finds volunteerism the most rewarding aspect of working with non-profit organizations:  “Our current culture places high demands on a person’s time and energy.  When individuals are compelled to give their time and talents to an organization, they greatly enhance the depth of their community’s humanity.”

Amy graduated from the University of Utah with a BFA in Modern Dance. A native of Pennsylvania, Amy resides in Winston-Salem with her husband Christopher and two daughters.
